EMK’s “Brasshopper” will inspire you to get out of your seat and vibe out to infectious melodies throughout. Inspired by the catchy riffs of The Crusaders, EMK’s core members Ted Kleist, Stephen “Eski” Edwards, and Matt McElwain aspire to create a groove-oriented ensemble that invites some of Denver’s finest musicians to come in and collaborate. Tanner Fruit (saxophone), Matt Wikolak (trumpet), Eric Luba (keyboards) and Jake Heym (percussion) join EMK to fill out the track with horn lines and vamps that enhance the funky strut. EMK and Color Red invite you to raise your glasses to one of Denver’s best new collaborative projects.
