Stone Poem (feat. Mike Dillon)

Elephant Wrecking Ball brings an inimitable brand of experimental groove jazz in their latest track “Stone Poem” featuring Mike Dillon on vibraphone and tabla. Spurred from an odd time signature bass line, the unconventional form reads like a poem with three different parts in succession as the initial motif is followed by variations in different time signatures. The track is off of the group’s latest album ‘Joy Front’ released in October 2019.
