KJ Evans is an indie pop artist with a dark side. Speaking on the struggles of love in her generation, Evans paints a picture with sultry phrases similar to Lana Del Ray, and draws inspiration from Brody Dalle in The Distillers. The music behind the lyrics gives a mixture of Pink Floyd and bedroom pop. The release of "Bad Little Baby" put her in the Top 11 songs for 2019 and "I Don't Wanna Fall in Love" was in the Top 10 for 2020 on KTCL Channel 93.3's Hometown for the Holidays.
