Whenever Color Red presses a new record, you will receive an email that alerts you to the new title that is en route to Color Red headquarters. From there, you can expect the record to arrive at your door within the next 2-3 weeks. If you wish to skip the record, you can do so with ease and opt out of being charged for that particular release.
As a member of Color Red Vinyl Club, you can expect to enjoy records ahead of their street date, exclusive membership inventory & offers, and alerts to specially curated bundles at a discounted price.

Once a record is is en route to the Color Red headquarters, an email notification will be sent to all subscribers. This notification will inform the customer of the upcoming record, along with the next charge date and option to skip.

'Horseplay' by Mustang McGee
Saddle up–It's Mustang Time! We're pleased to announce a brand new release from Mustang McGee, bassist for Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country presenting his debut solo record that's an invigorating infusion of classic boogie rock, blues, and country sounds.
Representing Tennessee—originally from Memphis, but now out of Nashville—Mustang McGee is a mustachioed bassist who identifies as a horse. Mustang is keenly known for his highly energetic performance presence on stage as a member of Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country. In his solo musical efforts, Mustang primarily explores melodically and lyrically driven soul, rock, and folk music. Drawing influence from decades of soulful sounds, Mustang creatively creates post-modern sonic scenes that leave listeners exclaiming “When was this made? and “Wow, I love this!”
There are no shortage of special guests on 'Horseplay' as you can hear rising star and longtime partner in crime Daniel Donato as well as GRAMMY-nominated blues artist Christone "Kingfish" Ingram.

The Lewis Express is comprised of the musicians that have collaborated on releases from the UK's ATA Records: John Ellis (Work Money Death) Neil Innes, (The Sorcerers, Work Money Death), Sam Hobbs, (Work Money Death) and Sam Bell, (Work Money Death). The Lewis Express, draws inspiration from luminaries like Ramsey Lewis, Les McCann, and Galt MacDermot, ATA sought to channel the unmistakable energy of soul-jazz.
Now that we've piqued your interest, let's take it a step further—did you know that Eddie Roberts used to be in The Lewis Express?! We'll let him take you down memory lane in his own words:
Way back in 2004, the now highly respected studio producer, label boss, and most importantly, bad ass upright bass player Neil Innes asked me to join him in performing a tribute to Ramsey Lewis at a club in Leeds. The name ‘Lewis Express’ was born. This is the 3rd Lewis Express album on ATA Records, Neil’s label out of Leeds, UK that, similarly to Color Red has a love for the vintage recording ethos and pooling some of the best musicians in its orbit. Now separate by continents, I’ve not been in the band for the last 15 years, however, along with the staple rhythm section, Neil brought in my old buddy Chip Wickham (check The New Mastersounds' "Chocolate Chip!") on flute to create this beautiful record in the ‘hand-clapping-soul-jazz’ genre pioneered by the likes of Ramsey Lewis, Les McCann and Gene Harris.
