Mo' Gigs

Mo' Gigs are a 3-piece from Budapest, Hungary. They create their own soulful music in a funky modern vintage manner, sometimes adding down-home blues flavors to the mix. The music of the band is rooted in the down-to-earth, smoky and bluesy Hammond funk and soul sounds. Also, they use elements of some contemporary music styles. It is from these effects the musical perception they call “modern vintage”. They knee deep in tradition with today’s mindset when it comes to the actual songwriting and producing. This is what makes their connection to their audience very present. Besides the very characteristic raw funk music, recently they brought in a flavor of traditional, southern sounding blues sounds, sometimes bending it with electronic elements. 

The band is comprised of Zoltan Gingl on drums, Pilu Klassik (István Balahoczky) on bass & guitars, and Boogie (Csaba Gál) on vocals & guitars.
