Joe Sturges

Joe Sturges is an anglo-spanish multi-instrumentalist composer from Madrid, Spain. Self-taught, he has gained his sound through playing and touring in a variety of cultures and genres, including jazz, hip hop, folk and classical music scenarios. Inspired by composers such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chopin, Debussy and artists and bands like Khruangbin, The Reign of Kindo, Mark Guiliana and A Tribe Called Quest, among many others, he crafts a unique and honest sound in his music. Currently residing in Madrid, Spain, he continues to work on his multiple projects and collaborates with artists such as Lucas de Mulder, Trinidad Jiménez, Javier Vercher, Omar Alcaide and Sara Sístole.
