Brant, Dan, and Neal came together at Color Red Studios on a Winter's day in 2019 to record some music Brant had introduced to the rhythm section duo a few weeks earlier at a bar gig. After listening to copious amounts of chill instrumental funk and soul bands, the trio birthed 4 arrangements in a similar aesthetic that constitute the band's first effort, "Queen Anne's Lace."
