This Is Halloween

Elephant Wrecking Ball puts a personal touch on the Danny Elfman classic, “This is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas. At the suggestion of their longtime friend, collage artist, and avid Nightmare Before Christmas fan, Curtis Bergesen, the group decided to take the live fan-favorite to the studio to record and release prior to Halloween 2021. The trio of Scott Flynn (trombone), Dan Africano (bass), and Neal Evans (drums) furthers their explorations in jazz, hip-hop, and electronica with a hard-driving rhythm section and haunting horn leads & effects to pay tribute to Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King and the Patron Spirit of Halloween.
