Hit the Deck (Doug Gómez Merecumbe Funk Remix)

DJ and producer Doug Gómez’s love of music began at an early age. A native New Yorker of Colombian roots, his love for drums and sophisticated melodies led him to embrace the path of DJing and production. These roots in the context of 1980’s NYC are the elements that have made him one of the top Afro-House producers in the scene today. In ShwizZ’s “Hit The Deck” he heard echoes of Latin Soul, of Carlos Santana’s guitar licks, and transformed it into a percussion-filled dancefloor anthem. We are thrilled to have Doug Gómez in our extended family.
