The Ambergris Protocol

Chris Spies is a widely-known keyboardist-at-large on both the road and in the studio. When not performing alongside various funk and blues acts like Honey Island Swamp Band and The Lucky Strokes, Spies crafts his own unique blend of sounds he calls "Interplanetary Trailer Park Jazz". After tapping other touring and studio mainstay musicians such as Brooks Hubbert and Doug Belote, as well as New Mastersounds bassist Pete Shand, Spies shares an instrumental funk-meets-jam single with plenty of jazz flair via "The Ambergris Protocol". The single and the additional tracks on his upcoming album, 'Chaosmosis', were mixed and mastered by Soulive's Alan Evans.
