We Didn't Come This Far

Brendan McKinney & The 99 Brown Dogs reconnected with old friends at Shakedown Bar Vail Studio to record “We Didn’t Come This Far.” The lyrics impart a positive message of working together and staying together—a resilient message that resonates with people from all walks of life amongst a tumultuous few years of changes and isolation. The track features longtime friends and musical collaborators Scott Rednor (guitar), John Michel (drums), and Michael Jude (bass), all members of longstanding Vail-based rock band, Brothers Keeper. The track is his first release on the GO MAPS MUSIC record label housed under the parent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization MAPS MUSIC. The organization is inspired by connection, collaboration, education and integrity in the music they produce and the relationships they build.
