Hash Pipe (Les Jeux Sont Funk Remix)

Tiger HiFi was a German dub reggae band formed in Berlin in 2006. It mainly performed dub cover versions of pop hits, such as Madonna’s “Music”, Babyshambles' "Fuck Forever", and of course, this cover of Weezer’s “Hashpipe”. Sadly, they are no longer together.

Around the same time, Carlo Nardi was living in Berlin, spinning in clubs such as Lovelite, Delicious Doughnuts, Rosi's, Privatclub, and many others, where he joined Michelle Bazzanella to form Les Jeux Sont Funk. LJSF are sometimes a 2-person production team, sometimes a 9-piece live band. They pledge their allegiance to the groove, with a foot oriented towards classic funk, a second one dipping into the depth of soul music and a third (cyborg) foot tempted by the seductions of the electronic scene.
