When The Greyboy Allstars set on their maiden voyage to the UK, they stopped at a legendary jazz club hosted by Eddie Roberts for a supporting set from his organ trio, The Three Deuces. That night, a mutual admiration was sparked for reinvigorating boogaloo soul-jazz. Years later, they made the dream team of funk enthusiasts and analog recording devotees featuring Eddie Roberts, Robert Walter, Chris Stillwell, and Zak Najor.
