Canary Islands producer Sauco goes deep with this remix of Nigeria band The Voice of Lajorun and their single “Omo Aye”. The Voice of Lajorun are among the new voices in Nigerian Afrobeat today, and the track addresses the trials of life and the courage to move ahead through the figure of a street-smart little boy making his way in a tough city. Spanish producer Sauco captures the emotion and the tension with this remix that lives between Deep and Afro House, with a dash of Afro-Disco thrown in that keeps the track nimble and dancefloor-friendly. This is Sauco’s first project with Red Night Recordings, and we could not be happier.
