The aptly-named follow-up to The New Mastersounds' 2016 live-in-studio record "The Nashville Session." Same set-up as before: the four returned to the same gorgeous vintage analogue studio to perform a straight-to-tape, live set in front of a small invited audience. On the previous Nashville Session album Joe Tatton was limited to only a Hammond organ, so for this session the band decided to furnish him with a load of vintage pianos and a Prophet 5 analogue synthesizer to pick for tunes accordingly. The tracks are mainly existing NMS studio tunes whose arrangements have evolved organically in the years since they were originally recorded. The band even included two tunes from their most recent studio album, Renewable Energy, as they had a lot of fun developing them in the live set.
